How it began

Let’s Recycle Again LLC was founded by Don Mariani, a leader in the textile recycling industry with nearly 30 years of hands-on experience. After dedicating decades to the business, Don launched this company with a clear vision: reduce waste, protect our environment, and give back to the communities that make the work possible.

Throughout his career, Don has witnessed firsthand the overwhelming amount of usable clothing and shoes that end up in landfills. That reality shaped his mission. He has been part of collecting over 20 million pounds of unwanted textiles, helping keep those materials out of local landfills and redirecting them to places where they can be reused and valued.

Beyond environmental impact, Don’s work has always been deeply rooted in community service. Over the years, he has been responsible for granting wishes and supporting organizations such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, A Wish Come True, ALS, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Research Foundation, AMVETS, and many other charitable groups. Giving back has never been an afterthought; it has been a driving force.

This next chapter with Let’s Recycle Again LLC represents something even more personal. Don’s focus is now on strengthening local impact by supporting animal shelters with food and essential supplies and assisting American veterans organizations throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

For Don, textile recycling is not just about collection; it is about responsibility, sustainability, and service. It is about building a business that protects the environment while uplifting the community.

And if you see Elvis, Don’s loyal dog, featured along the way, know that he represents the heart behind it all. Because for Don, community includes the four-legged members too.
